Relay For Life
June 2-3 | MSHS Track | 6 PM - 8 AM
For Families attending the Family Hour from 6-8pm, please still make a team for internal purposes. This is an overnight event, however you are not required to stay overnight.
What is Relay For Life?
-
Cancer fundraiser that takes place throughout the night (camp out with your friends!)
-
Walk/run around the track (this is not a race)
-
Fun rally with food trucks, field games, and more
-
Giant Monopoly, giant Jenga, bouncy houses, and other field games
-
We will have food trucks and local vendors there, like the HOCO tailgate
(imagine a “Last Blast” + a “Walk-a-ton” + a great cause!)
Why do we relay?
-
Celebrate cancer survivors and honor those who have passed
-
Join together to raise funds to fight cancer.
-
A generation of research depends on the funds that we raise right now.
-
Everyone deserves a fair opportunity to prevent, find, treat, and survive cancer.
-
A chance to make a change to come together to fight cancer. Everyone has their own story.
When?
-
Starts on June 2nd at 6 pm and ends the next day, June 3rd at 8 am
-
(AN OVERNIGHT EVENT) but you do not have to stay the whole time (we encourage you to, but you don't have to).
Where?
-
MSHS track and freshman (Red) parking lot:
-
The track allows a place to camp, walk, set up booths, and maybe play games in the middle.
-
The Freshman lot is where most of the food will be, (no food allowed on the track) and there will be parking available here as well.
-
We will also have the football field concessions open for food.
-
How it works:
-
Register
-
Fundraise
-
Relay: come together to support and celebrate survivors
